Ingredients
Crust
- 125 grams Lean Ground Turkey
- 1 Egg
- 20 grams Dry Pressed Cottage Cheese (Farmers Cheese)
Toppings
- 3 tbsp Hot Salsa
- 30 grams Light Mozzarella Cheese
- 15 grams Dry Pressed Cottage Cheese
- 1 slice Smoked Turkey Bacon Hayters Farm Brand
- 1/2 Turkey Sauce Hayters Farm Brand
- 1 slice Tomato Quartered
- Fresh Basil
- Hot Peppers Optional
Instructions
- Pre-heat oven or toaster oven to 400F.
- Mix ground turkey with pressed cottage cheese and egg till evenly blended. Spread mixture and flatten onto a baking sheet.
- Bake for 20 min, flip and bake for another 20 minutes.
- While crust is baking, mix the mozzarella cheese with remaining Dry Pressed Cottage cheese.
- Grill (or cook in non-stick pan) slice of turkey bacon to crispy up. Cool off and cut into thin strips. Cut up turkey sausage into 6 slices. (do not pre-cook sausage)
- Once the crust is ready, remove from the oven and spread salsa on top. Sprinkle the cheese evenly on top of salsa. Top with bacon strips, tomato, sausage and hot peppers.
- Place back in oven and bake until cheese is melted and sausage is cooked.
- Remove from oven, top with 1/2 basil leaf on each half of pizza. Cut in half and enjoy! Remember, 1/2 BBE-Eatza makes one serving, so share with someone you love. 🙂
